Dear alumni and friends,

The Forty Acres is buzzing with anticipation as we prepare for classes to resume next week! Summer is never slow in the world of international education, and these past months were no exception. We sent close to 3,000 students to 83 countries for life-changing internship, research, and educational opportunities.

Texas Global also hosted 230 young leaders and entrepreneurs from 25 countries on campus this summer to enrich their professional skills and cultural understanding. As the academic year approaches, we are looking forward to welcoming nearly 2,000 new international students and scholars to join us on the Forty Acres.

This fall, we are thrilled to launch our inaugural first-semester-abroad experiential learning program. Three cohorts of freshmen will Take the World by the Horns by launching their Longhorn academic journeys in Copenhagen, Panama City, or Seoul. What an exciting way to begin their college adventure!

And, looking back on the past several months, we invite you to enjoy the stories detailing the University’s honors, advancements in research, achievements in global programming, and our outstanding alumni.

Hook ’em!
